My Broadcasting Career (1982 – 1998)
My first job at WBBG in Cleveland. Many greats sat in this chair and used this microphone including Bill Randle, Tom Armstrong, Carl Reese and Ted Alexander.
You need to be fired from at least one radio station to say you had a successful career. I was fired from two. Do you know which ones?

1996-1998 – WNIR Akron, 100.1 FM, News/Talk

I was fortunate enough to have an interesting career in radio. I met some monsters in the business during my time at WBBG. I was lucky enough to cover the Cleveland Browns and Cavaliers during some great seasons, which included my being at the 1987 NFL AFC Championship Game while at WBKC. I also covered High school football and basketball in the region where I grew up. I moved on to an extremely fun Top 40 station called 102ZOO, where I worked twice. I also did afternoon drive in Erie at WRKT where I interviewed plenty of musicians and comedians including; George Carlin, Sam Kinneson, Rob Halford of Judas Priest, Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon and many more…
